Symptoms

• Airbag light is on
• The security system may not recognize a seatbelt passenger.
• Error B0054 is stored in the control unit memory

Causes

• Seat belt sensor malfunction
• Broken or damaged wiring harness
• Poor contact in the sensor connector

• Malfunction of the airbag control unit

How to Fix

1. Check the condition of the seat belt sensor
2. Inspect the wiring harness for damage
