Causes
- Mechanical obstacle to the curtain (objects in the trim)
- Deformation of curtain guides or fastenings
- Open or short circuit in the wiring harness (harness) of the curtain circuit
- Malfunction of the squib or SRS control unit
How to Fix
- Check the roof sheathing for foreign objects
- Visually inspect the curtain guides and fastenings
- Diagnose the curtain circuit wiring harness
- Check the resistance of the curtain squib
- Reset the error and test the system
