- The SRS system can be partially deactivated
- Security error message on display (if present)
Causes
- Side airbag sensor malfunction (left side)
- Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring harness
- Poor contact in the sensor connector
- Corroded contacts or damaged wiring
- SRS control unit malfunction
How to Fix
- Diagnostics of the SCS/SRS system using a specialized scanner
- Visual inspection of the sensor wiring harness and connectors
- Checking resistance and sensor signals
