Symptoms

• The turn indicator on the dashboard flashes at double speed
• The right front turn signal does not work
• Possible messages on the on-board computer display

Causes

• Burnt out turn signal lamp
• Open or short circuit in wiring harness
• Poor contact in headlight connector
• Turn signal relay malfunction
• Body Control Module (BCM) Problems
• Malfunction of the turn switch itself

How to Fix

1. Check and, if necessary, replace the turn signal lamp
2. Check the integrity of the wiring harness
3. Check contacts in connectors
4. Check the voltage on the turn signal circuit
5. If necessary, replace the turn signal relay
6. If all of the above are OK, check the body control module
