Causes

Faulty wheel speed sensor
Broken or damaged sensor wiring harness
Poor contact in the sensor connector
Damage to the toothed ring on the wheel hub
Problems with the ABS ECU

How to Fix

Check the integrity of the sensor wiring harness
Determine the state of the contacts in the sensor connector
Check the resistance of the wheel speed sensor (should be within 0.8–2.3 kOhm)
Inspect the toothed ring on the wheel hub for damage
If necessary, replace the wheel speed sensor
