Symptoms

• ESP or airbag indicator is on
• Disabling the stabilization system
• Unstable operation of airbags (in rare cases)

Causes

• Malfunction of the acceleration sensor ('G' sensor)
• Open or shorted wiring harness
• Poor contact in sensor connectors
• Problems with the control module
• Incorrect sensor calibration

How to Fix

1. Visually check the sensor and wiring harness for damage
2. Check the resistance and continuity of the sensor circuit
3. Clean connector contacts
4. Replace sensor if necessary
5. Perform sensor calibration (if required)
6. Reset the error and check if it returns
