Symptoms

• The ESC/ESP indicator on the dashboard is on
• The stabilization system is disabled or does not work correctly
• Possible false alarms when turning

Causes

• Roll speed sensor malfunction
• Open or short circuit in wiring harness
• Poor contact in connectors
• Mechanical damage to the sensor (shock, vibration)
• Sensor power problems
• Stability control ECU malfunction

How to Fix

1. Diagnose the ESC/ESP system using a scanner
2. Visually check the condition of the sensor and its fastening
3. Check the integrity of the wiring harness and connector contacts
4. Measure the resistance and supply voltage of the sensor
5. If necessary, replace the roll rate sensor
6. Calibrate the new sensor
7. Check the operation of the road stabilization system
