Symptoms

• The low tire pressure indicator comes on
• Deterioration in handling
• Increased tire wear
• Increased fuel consumption

Causes

• Tire puncture or damage
• Air leak through nipple
• Tire pressure sensor malfunction
• Low ambient temperature (decrease in pressure during cold weather)

How to Fix

1. Check the pressure in all tires using a pressure gauge
2. Inflate tires to recommended pressure
3. Inspect tires for damage or leaks
4. If necessary, replace or repair the tire
5. Check and replace the faulty pressure sensor (if the problem is not pressure)
