Symptoms

• ABS or ESC indicator is on
• Incorrect operation of the ABS system
• Loss of functionality of the stabilization system
• Clicking or noise coming from the ABS unit

Causes

• Open circuit in power supply or pump control
• Pump motor malfunction
• ABS pump relay problems
• ABS/ESC control unit malfunction
• Oxidation of contacts in connectors

How to Fix

1. Check fuses related to ABS/ESC
2. Diagnose the pump power circuit
3. Check the resistance of the motor windings
4. Check pump relay
5. Scan the ABS/ESC unit for additional errors
6. If necessary, replace the pump motor or ABS unit
