Symptoms

• Check engine light is on
• ABS/ESC indicator is on
• Stabilization system and ABS are disabled
• Uneven or incorrect brake application
• Loss of Brake Assist Functions

Causes

• Open or short circuit in control valve wiring harness
• Corroded or damaged electrical connectors
• Faulty solenoid valve in the hydraulic drive module
• Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) internal malfunction
• Problems with module power or grounding

How to Fix

1. Scan fault codes and check current data
2. Visually inspect the wiring harness and connectors for damage.
3. Check the resistance and voltage in the control valve circuit
4. If necessary, replace the faulty solenoid valve or the entire hydraulic module
5. If the EBCM malfunctions, replace or repair the module
6. Clear error codes and test drive to check
