- The brake pedal may become soft or sink in

- Feeling of uneven braking
Causes
- Malfunction of the brake fluid pressure sensor
- Open or short to ground in the sensor wiring
- Real pressure drop - brake fluid leak
- Air in the brake circuit
- Oxidation of sensor connector contacts
- ABS control unit malfunction
How to Fix
- Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir immediately
- Inspect all brake hoses, tubes and calipers for leaks
- Read the error codes and check the pressure sensor readings with a scanner
- Check the wiring and connector of the pressure sensor with a multimeter
- If there is a leak, repair and bleed the brake system
- If the sensor is faulty, replace it
