Symptoms

• ABS/ESP indicator is on
• The stabilization system may turn off

Causes

• Wheel speed sensor malfunction (left front, circuit B)
• Open or short circuit in wiring harness
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Mechanical damage to the sensor (for example, during suspension repairs)
• Problems with the ABS module
• Severe corrosion in the area where the sensor is installed

How to Fix

1. Check the visual condition of the sensor and wiring
2. Measure resistance and voltage at the sensor
3. Check the integrity of the wiring harness from the sensor to the ABS module
4. Clean sensor connector contacts
5. If necessary, replace the wheel speed sensor
6. Test the operation of the system after repair
