Causes

• Stretched or broken timing chain
• Worn or broken timing chain tensioner

• Worn chain guides or guides
• Incorrect installation of timing marks after repair

How to Fix

1. Read error codes and analyze data with a scanner
2. Check the condition of the timing chain/belt visually
3. Measure the timing chain tension with a special tool
