Symptoms

Causes

• Damage to wiring harness due to high temperature

How to Fix

1. Connect the diagnostic scanner and read the error codes
2. Check the supply voltage at the oxygen sensor connector
3. Inspect wiring and connectors for damage and corrosion
4. Measure the resistance of the sensor heating element
5. Check the sensor ground circuit for integrity
6. If necessary, replace the oxygen sensor
7. Repair or replace damaged wiring
8. Clean the connectors from corrosion and treat them with contact lubricant.
9. Clear error codes and test drive to check
