Causes

• Ambient temperature sensor malfunction

How to Fix

1. Connect the diagnostic scanner and read the error codes
2. Locate the ambient temperature sensor (usually in the front bumper)
3. Visually check the condition of the sensor and wiring
4. Measure the resistance of the sensor with a multimeter
5. Check the integrity of the wiring from the sensor to the ECU
6. Check supply voltage and signal circuits
