Symptoms

• Reduced engine power
• Increased fuel consumption
• Unstable engine operation
• Check Engine Light Illuminates

Causes

• Charge air cooler temperature sensor malfunction
• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
• Damage to connectors or corrosion of contacts
• ECU malfunction

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor circuit (open circuit, short circuit)
2. Check sensor connectors and contacts
3. Check the sensor resistance (compare with the nominal value)
4. Replace sensor if necessary
5. Check the operation of the ECU (if other reasons are excluded)
