Causes

Malfunction of the mass air flow sensor (MAF) B
Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring harness
Poor contact in the sensor connector
Engine control unit (ECU) malfunction

How to Fix

Check the condition of the wiring harness and sensor connector
Clean the contacts of the sensor connector
Check the resistance and voltage at the sensor
If necessary, replace the mass air flow sensor (MAF) B
Reset the error and check for its reappearance
