Causes
- Failure of oxygen sensor bank 1, sensor 1 (depletion of life)

- Damage to the wiring or lambda probe connector
- Sensor heating element failure
- Sensor contamination with silicone, antifreeze or oil from exhaust gases
How to Fix
- Read codes and real-time data - look at the voltage of sensor 1 bank 1 with a warm engine
- Make sure that the sensor heater is working properly (resistance 2–20 Ohms)
- Check for air leaks in the intake tract (with a smoke generator or aerosol)
- Check fuel pressure and injector operation
- Inspect the sensor connector and wiring for damage.
- If the sensor does not switch or produces a constantly low signal, replace the lambda probe of bank 1, sensor 1
