Symptoms

Causes

  • Worn or dirty oxygen sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
  • Leaks in the exhaust manifold or exhaust system
  • Problems with the fuel system (injectors, fuel pump, pressure regulator)
  • Catalytic Converter Malfunctions
  • Damaged wiring harnesses or problems with sensor contacts

How to Fix

  1. Check the condition of the oxygen sensor (visual inspection for contamination, damage)
  2. Clean or replace the sensor if it is dirty or faulty
  3. Check the tightness of the exhaust manifold and exhaust system
