Symptoms

• Misfire in cylinder 12
• Unstable engine operation
• Power reduction
• Increased fuel consumption
• Possible smell of unburned fuel

Causes

• Broken or damaged injector circuit wires
• Short circuit to ground or power
• Cylinder 12 injector malfunction
• Oxidation of injector connector contacts
• ECU problems (rare)

How to Fix

1. Check the wiring harness and injector connectors for damage and corrosion.
2. Measure injector resistance (must meet specification)
3. Check the continuity of the circuit between the computer and the injector
4. If necessary, replace the injector or repair the wiring
5. Reset the error and check if it returns
