Causes

Faulty intercooler cooling pump
Pump control wire short circuit to ground
Broken power or control wire
Pump connector oxidation
Faulty pump relay or fuse

How to Fix

Read error codes and check for adjacent codes
Check the intercooler coolant pump circuit fuse
Check the supply voltage at the pump connector
Check the wiring harness for open circuit and short to ground.
Measure the resistance of the pump winding
If necessary, replace the intercooler cooling pump
