Symptoms

• Check Engine (Check Engine) on the dashboard
• Reduced engine power
• Increased fuel consumption
• Detonation knocks in the engine
• The engine goes into emergency mode

Causes

• Knock sensor fault C
• Open or short circuit in the sensor wiring harness
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• Sensor circuit grounding problems
• ECU malfunction

1. Checking the integrity of the sensor wiring harness
2. Checking connections and contacts in the sensor connector
3. Checking the resistance of the knock sensor
