Causes

• Open or short circuit in knock sensor wiring harness D
• Knock sensor fault D
• Poor contact in the sensor connector
• ECU problems (rare)

How to Fix

1. Check knock sensor D wiring harness for damage.
2. Check the sensor connector for corrosion or poor contact.
3. Check the resistance of the knock sensor D (compare with the technical specifications)
4. If necessary, replace knock sensor D
5. Clear the error code and check if it returns
