Causes

Short circuit to positive in the glow plug wiring harness
Malfunction of the glow plug control module
Poor contact or corrosion in module connector
Electronic control unit (ECU/WAR) failure

How to Fix

Check the voltage in the glow plug module control circuit (disconnecting the connector)
Inspect the wiring harness for damage and short circuits.
Test the resistance of the glow plugs (should be 0.6–2.0 Ohm)
Check the serviceability of the glow plug control module
Scan error codes in ECU for additional data
