Causes
- Short circuit of the sensor signal wire to ground
- Sensor power wire break
- Faulty crankcase gas pressure sensor
- Blockage of the tube connecting the sensor to the crankcase
- ECU malfunction
How to Fix
- Read error codes and check related PCV system codes
- Find the crankcase gas pressure sensor according to the diagram
- Check the supply voltage (5V) at the sensor connector
- Check signal wire for short to ground
- Make sure that the tube connecting the sensor to the crankcase is not clogged.
- Replace the sensor if the characteristics do not match
- Reset the error and check the system
