Error P0592 on Jaguar все модели

Symptoms

• Cruise control completely inoperable
• Check Engine Light Illuminates
• One of the steering wheel buttons may be stuck
• Incorrect operation of related functions (audio, telephone) on the steering wheel

Causes

• Input B signal wire short to ground
• Stuck or jammed button in the control unit
• Liquid getting into the steering wheel button block
• Internal short circuit in the steering wheel cable
• Malfunction of the resistor in the button circuit

How to Fix

1. Inspect the steering wheel button block for stuck buttons and traces of liquid.
2. Measure the voltage at input B with no buttons pressed (should be close to 5 V)
3. Check input B signal wire for short to ground.
4. Inspect the steering wheel cable connector for damage.
5. Dry and clean the button block if traces of moisture are detected
6. Replace the steering wheel button assembly when an internal short is confirmed
