  • The problem often appears after replacing the ECU or other electronic unit

Causes

  • Incomplete adaptation of components after repair or tuning

How to Fix

  1. Connect a professional dealer scanner and read the identification data of all modules
  2. Compare hardware and software codes of all units with expected values for a given VIN
  3. If the reason is replacement of the ECU: make sure the unit is compatible by part number, if necessary, reprogram it at dealer equipment
  4. If the firmware does not match: perform a complete software update of all units
  5. In case of mechanical incompatibility of components: consult a technical specialist for possible adaptation
  6. Contact an official dealer for coding and adaptation of blocks
