Causes
- Pump relay control wire shorted to positive wire
- Pump relay contacts sticking in closed position
- Malfunction of the ECU control transistor (constantly open)
- Damage to control wire insulation
- Installation error after repair work
How to Fix
- Check if the pump works with the ignition off
- Check the pump relay for stuck contacts
- Measure the voltage at the control terminal of the computer with the ignition off
- Check the control wire for short to positive
- Eliminate the identified short circuit
- If the external circuit is working properly - ECU diagnostics

Как понять, что насос работает постоянно?
При выключённом двигателе (зажигание выключено) прислушайтесь к зоне бака. Рабочий насос издаёт характерный тихий гул. Если гул слышен при выключённом зажигании — насос работает постоянно.
