Causes
- Oxidation of sensor or ECU connectors in circuit B
- Sensor with internal current leakage, draining the circuit
- High wire resistance (partial break or corrosion)
- Humidity in connectors
- ECU internal circuit malfunction (rare)
How to Fix
- Check circuit B sensor reference voltage (should be 4.9 - 5.1 V)
- Inspect and clean all circuit B sensor connectors
- Disable sensors one at a time to identify the source of the drawdown
- Check the resistance of the reference wire
- Inspect the ECU connector for oxidation.
- Replace the faulty sensor or repair the wiring
