- Possible forced power limitation on some cars
- Violation of environmental standards for NOx emissions
Causes
- Burnt out AdBlue indicator lamp
- Open or short circuit in the lamp control circuit
- SCR system control module malfunction
- ECU output stage malfunction
- Oxidation of lamp control circuit connectors
How to Fix
- Check the operation of the AdBlue indicator when the ignition is turned on (lamp self-test)
- Replace the burnt out lamp if necessary
- Check the wiring and connectors of the SCR lamp control circuit
- Check the AdBlue level and make sure the SCR system is working properly
- Diagnostics of the SCR control module
- If necessary, repair wiring or replace components
