Causes
- Burnt-out glow plug for cylinder 8
- Broken power wire

- GPCM module malfunction

How to Fix
- Read OBD-II error codes
- Measure the resistance of the spark plug of cylinder 8 (standard: 0.5–2 Ohm)
- Inspect the wiring and spark plug connector
- Check the supply voltage at the spark plug terminal
- Replace a faulty glow plug
- If the error occurs again, check GPCM

Насколько критично, что неработает свеча именно в цилиндре 8?
Каждая неработающая свеча ухудшает пуск и повышает нагрузку на остальные цилиндры при запуске. При мощных восьмицилиндровых двигателях влияние одной свечи немного меньше, чем в 4-цилиндровом, но всё равно значительно.
Можно ли заехать в сервис зимой при коде P0678?
Если температура не ниже -10°C, обычно можно завести двигатель с некоторыми усилиями. При более сильных морозах запуск может быть невозможен.
