- TAC malfunction indicator does not work or stays on
- Possible power limitations (emergency mode)
- Lack of response to pressing the gas pedal in some cases
- Unstable idle speed
Causes
- Open circuit in the throttle valve control lamp circuit
- Short circuit in TAC indicator circuit
- Malfunction of the indicator lamp itself or its socket
- TAC module wiring or connector problems
- Internal fault in the ECU or throttle control module
How to Fix
- Read error codes, identify the presence of additional TAC system codes
- Visually inspect the indicator circuit and TAC module wiring
- Check the voltage and continuity of the signal lamp circuit with a multimeter
- Inspect the ECU and TAC module connectors for oxidation and damage.
- Replace the faulty circuit element (lamp, relay, wiring)
- Reset error codes and check the correct operation of the indicator
