Symptoms

• Check Engine Light Is On
• Multiple simultaneous sensor error codes
• Unstable engine operation or transition to emergency mode
• Incorrect instrument readings (pressure, temperature)
• Difficulty starting or stopping the engine

Causes

• Short circuit to ground in the 5V reference voltage circuit of group D
• Break in the reference voltage line
• Malfunction of one of the sensors pulling the 5V line to ground
• Damage to the wiring harness (chafing, melting)
• Internal fault of the reference voltage regulator in the ECU

How to Fix

1. Read all error codes and identify which sensors are connected to line D
2. Disconnect the sensors one by one, measuring the voltage on the 5V line - find a sensor that eliminates the short circuit
3. Check the resistance of the 5V line relative to ground (the norm is more than 100 kOhm)
4. Inspect the wiring harness for damage and chafing.
5. Replace the faulty sensor or restore the wiring
6. Reset error codes, make sure sensor codes disappear
