Symptoms
- Check Engine Light Is On
- Multiple simultaneous sensor error codes
- Unstable engine operation or emergency mode
- Incorrect or zero readings from group B sensors
- Difficulty starting or stopping the engine
Causes
- Broken power supply wire for group B sensors
- Blown Group B power fuse
- Short circuit with subsequent activation of the ECU protection
- Oxidation or poor contact in the ECU connector
- Malfunction of the internal sensor power supply in the ECU
How to Fix
- Read all error codes, identify group B sensors according to the car diagram
- Check the power supply fuse for group B sensors
- Measure the voltage on the power line with the ignition on
- Check the wires from the ECU to the group B sensors for a break
- Repair the break, replace the fuse or faulty sensor
- Reset error codes and check for restoration of normal operation
