Causes
- Open circuit of the temperature sensor inside the SCR module
- Real overheating of the control module due to cooling failure
- Damage to the insulation of the sensor conductor inside the module
- Physical damage to the module housing
- Incorrect installation of the module (blocking ventilation)
How to Fix
- Check the temperature of the SCR module housing by touch or with a pyrometer
- In case of overheating, make sure that the installation is correct and that the cooling is not blocked.
- Check the sensor readings through the scanner in comparison with the actual temperature
- Eliminate the cause of overheating (if found)
- If the sensor breaks, replace the SCR control module
- Check the system after repair
