Symptoms

• Incorrect gear shifting

Causes

• Solenoid C jammed
• Contaminated transmission fluid
• Solenoid circuit problems
• Transmission control module (TCM) malfunction
• Mechanical damage inside the gearbox

How to Fix

1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
2. Check solenoid C circuit
3. Replace solenoid C if necessary
4. Flush the gearbox system if the fluid is contaminated
5. Check and replace the transmission control module (TCM) if necessary.
