Symptoms

• Incorrect gear shifting

Causes

• Solenoid H fault
• Open or short circuit in solenoid circuit
• Low transmission fluid level
• Contaminated or old transmission fluid
• Transmission Control Module (TCM) Problems

How to Fix

1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
2. Diagnose the solenoid circuit (resistance, voltage)
3. Check the solenoid for mechanical damage
4. If necessary, replace solenoid H
5. Reflash or replace the transmission control module (if necessary)
