Causes

  • Wear of friction linings of element B
  • Low or contaminated transmission fluid
  • Problems with the hydraulic system (pump, valves)
  • Malfunction of control solenoids
  • Mechanical damage inside the gearbox

How to Fix

  1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
  2. Conduct diagnostics of the hydraulic system and solenoids
  3. Replace friction linings of element B if necessary
  4. Check and replace pump or valves if necessary
  5. Adapt the gearbox after repair
