Symptoms

• Delays or jerks when shifting gears
• Loss of power during acceleration
• Transmission fluid overheating
• Check Engine Light Is On
• The gear may literally slip (engine speed increases without increasing speed)

Causes

• Wear of friction linings of element H
• Low or contaminated transmission fluid
• Hydraulic pressure problems (pump failure, leaks)
• Sticky or worn shift solenoids
• Mechanical damage inside the transmission

How to Fix

1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
2. Conduct pressure diagnostics in the hydraulic system
3. Check the condition of the shift solenoids
4. Perform transmission adaptation (if possible)
5. If necessary, repair or replace friction elements of the transmission
