Causes

  • Pressure control solenoid B malfunction
  • Open or short circuit in control circuit
  • Poor contact in solenoid connectors
  • Low or contaminated transmission fluid

How to Fix

  1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
  2. Check the integrity of the solenoid control circuit
  3. Check resistance and operation of solenoid B
  4. Clean or replace pressure control solenoid
  5. Check and, if necessary, replace the automatic transmission control unit
