  • Jerking when shifting gears

Causes

  • Open or short circuit in solenoid control circuit
  • Shift Solenoid C Malfunction
  • Transmission control module (TCM) problems
  • Damaged or corroded connectors or wiring harness
  • Poor ground connection

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the solenoid control circuit
  2. Measure the resistance of the solenoid and compare with the norm
  3. Check the condition of the connectors and wiring harness
  4. Replace shift solenoid C if necessary
  5. Check and, if necessary, replace the transmission control module (TCM)
