Symptoms

Causes

  • Open or short circuit in the DC/DC converter control circuit
  • Poor connection or corrosion in connectors
  • Faulty DC/DC converter
  • Problems with the hybrid control module (HCU)
  • Wiring harness damage

How to Fix

  1. Check the integrity of the DC/DC converter control circuit
  2. Inspect and clean all connectors associated with the DC/DC converter
  3. Check voltage and resistance in control circuit
  4. Replace the DC/DC converter if necessary
