Causes

  • Faulty high voltage battery current sensor
  • Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
  • Corrosion or poor contact in electrical connectors
  • Damage to the wiring harness near the battery
  • Internal fault in the hybrid system control module

How to Fix

  1. Carry out diagnostics using a scanner capable of working with hybrid systems
  2. Visually check the integrity of the wiring harness and current sensor connectors
  3. Check the operating parameters of the current sensor (values, supply voltage, grounding)
  4. If necessary, replace the faulty current sensor
  5. Clear error codes and test drive to check
