Symptoms

Causes

• Malfunction of the internal temperature sensor of the control module
• Problems with wiring to the compressor control module
• Short circuit or open circuit in the sensor circuit
• Failure of the compressor control module
• Poor contact in the control module connectors

How to Fix

1. Check fault codes and freeze frame data
2. Test the temperature sensor circuit with a multimeter
3. Check sensor resistance at different temperatures
4. Inspect connectors and wiring harness for damage
5. If necessary, replace the temperature sensor or control module
