Causes
- Coolant temperature sensor malfunction
- Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit
- Poor contact in the sensor connector
- Corroded or damaged wiring
- Engine ECU malfunction
How to Fix
- Check the resistance of the coolant temperature sensor
- Inspect the sensor connector and wiring for damage.
- Check the voltage in the sensor circuit
