Symptoms

• Check Engine light comes on
• The engine goes into emergency mode
• Loss of engine power
• Unstable idle speed
• Dips when pressing the gas pedal

Causes

• Throttle actuator malfunction
• Open or short circuit in control circuit
• Poor contact in connectors
• Problems with power or circuit ground
• Engine ECU malfunction

How to Fix

1. Check the condition of connectors and wiring
2. Check the resistance and operation of the throttle valve actuator
3. Check voltage and continuity of control circuit
4. Scan the ECU for additional errors
