Causes
- Open or short circuit in the squib circuit
- Malfunction of the airbag igniter (squib)
- Problems with the SRS wiring harness
- Airbag control module malfunction
- Corrosion or oxidation of contacts in the circuit
How to Fix
- Diagnose the SRS system using a specialized scanner
- Check the integrity of the circuit of squib No. 3
- Inspect contacts and connectors for corrosion or damage
- Check the resistance of the squib (only when the battery is disconnected)
- Repair only from an authorized dealer
