Causes

• Cylinder 1 position sensor malfunction
• Open or short circuit in the sensor circuit

How to Fix

1. Check the integrity of the sensor circuit
2. Check connections and sensor connector
3. Replace cylinder position sensor 1 if necessary
4. Check and, if necessary, replace the engine control module
