Causes
- Pressure control solenoid malfunction
- Solenoid circuit problems
- Low transmission fluid level
- Contaminated or old transmission fluid

How to Fix
- Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid
- Check the electrical circuit of the solenoid for opens and shorts
- Test solenoid resistance
- Replace pressure control solenoid if necessary
- Flush and replace transmission fluid
