- Clicking or strange sounds from the ABS unit when braking
Causes
- Front brake solenoid valve malfunction
- Open or short circuit in valve control circuit
- Problems with the ABS control unit
- Low or contaminated brake fluid
- Poor contact in the ABS unit connectors
How to Fix
- Check the level and condition of the brake fluid
- Diagnose the electrical valve control circuit
- Check the resistance and operation of the solenoid valve
- If necessary, replace the faulty valve
